Most Holy Redeemer Church of Montgomery, 206 Vine Ave. W., celebrates its faith and heritage Sunday, Sept. 28 with its Fall Festival and Polka Mass on the parish grounds in Montgomery.

The Fall Festival, 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., is a family-friendly outing with something for everyone. Children can try their luck at the cake walk, mini golf, or cast their line in the fish pond. Adults look forward to the 10:30 a.m. polka mass, a silent auction and to a variety of musical performances all day long.

This year's festival features musical entertainment by The Country Gentlemen polka variety band, Montgomery Lonsdale High School Jazz Band, New Prague High School Youth Polka Band, Domanci Czech Dancers, Blanche Zellmer and Czech Singers and Christian and contemporary musician Shelly Galvin.

The home baked chicken is a favorite. Festival attendees return yearly for the crispy, golden chicken and ham dinner - complete with all the trimmings. The chicken and ham dinner is served from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

While enjoying dinner, attendees can purchase raffle tickets and possibly walk home with more than $4,000 in prizes. This year we are offering two grand prizes of $500. Tickets are also being sold for a beautiful quilt.

Crafts and candies will be sold until they run out.
