We all scream for ice cream
Submitted by Shawn Hogendorf on July 5, 2007 - 2:11pm.There isn’t a better time of year for “National Ice Cream Month” than July. It’s hot; it's humid; and let's face it ice cream is, a cure for the summer-time blues.
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as “National Ice Cream Month.” Reagan must have really loved ice cream or had some stock in Ben and Jerry’s because he also designated the third Sunday in July as “National Ice Cream Day.”
According to idfa.org, Reagan recognized ice cream as a fun and nutritious food that is enjoyed by a full 90 percent of the nation’s population.

Do you flickr?
Submitted by Shawn Hogendorf on June 26, 2007 - 1:34pm.Do you flickr?
I do. Well I recently began to anyways.
Flickr is a photo sharing Web site for amateurs and professionals alike.
Check it out at www.flickr.com/.
It’s a lot of fun.
It’s good place to share photos.
It allows for some good feedback from flickr viewers.
And it’s easy… to post photos anyways. Taking a quality picture is a whole other story.
I must warn you the photos on this site may cause a humbling affect on your artistic endeavor, but a little humility never hurt anyone, right?
Here’s my point.

So what is your favorite Bob Dylan song?
I know that is a tough decision to make, so I'll start.
"Positively 4th Street" was one of my favorites growing up.
Today, I will say my favorite Dylan song is "She Belongs to Me," from the album "Bring it all Back Home."
What do you think?

Looking for a good outdoor music venue with national artists?
Submitted by Shawn Hogendorf on May 4, 2007 - 12:39pm.I love going to see live outdoor music.
One of my favorite venues to see national acts outside is the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheatre.
The shows can get a little pricey, but the intimacy and the sound in the venue make it well worth the price of admission, if you like the band.
The Minnesota Zoo recently released its concert schedule. Tickets are on sale for shows starting May 21 at 10 a.m.
To see this year's concert schedule go to http://www.suemclean.com/pages/zoo/index.html.
If you take my advice and head out to the zoo for a show this summer, you may see me at:
