The strike has led me to watch some shows I might not normally. Last night I watched a really cool show on public television called "Three Faiths, One God: Judaism, Christianity, Islam."

I'll be watching "Lost" for sure. It's my favorite show - so writers strike or not, I'll be glued to the television. I am a little scared that I've forgotten where we are in the story, but I have confidence that once the show starts it'll all come back to me. Actually, I enjoy myself a good ole Holiday special. We've watched "Shrek the Halls", "The Grinch" (animated version) and "Frosty" so far, but I also HAVE to see "Rudulph" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" to make my holiday complete. I enjoy settling in with the kids and enjoying the holidays via TV. Maybe it's because most of these shows take me back to my own childhood, but either way it's warm and fuzzy and I like it.

As far as my favorite Holiday FILMS - "Elf" and "Bad Santa" are always must sees.

I like your moral fiber jennyjean4. Did you see the episode when Sarah decided she was a lesbian? She wore a mullet wig, a flannel shirt with the sleeves cut off and sang a faux Indigo Girls song. So dang funny and so inappropriate. Isn't that the definition of good comedy? I think that's why I love comedians like Dave Chapelle. It's like, wait he can't say that. But he just did.

I agree. Sarah Silverman is hilarious. She is so uncomfortably inappropriate that I'm usually just a little bit ashamed to be laughing, but that doesn't mean it's not funny. The same goes for "Always Sunny" and "South Park". I usually find myself belly laughing outloud and then questioning my moral fiber when I'm all done. Now that's brilliant.
