Let's see...it's Wednesday and what to do, what to do?

I'm headed to Wine Styles in Shakopee for the free wine tasting from 5 to 8 p.m. Two reds and two wines are on the tasting block tonight, according to my handy-dandy e-mail update.

We get to try new wines and it's a fun way to meet people, too.

Plus, there's humor: "What do grapes say when you squish 'em? Nothin', they just let out a little wine."

I like: 1. Cinnamon chip

1. Cinnamon chip scruffins from Great Harvest Bread Co. in Minnetonka.

2. Rigatoni bolognese from Biella in Excelsior.

3. Chorizo sausage and Yukon Gold potatoes appetizer from Palomino in Minneapolis.

4. Potstickers with that tasty dipping sauce from Ming Wok in Excelsior.

5. Tiramisu torte from Muddy Paws Cafe in Uptown.

(The secret peanuts at Simply Nuts in Excelsior were also dangerously close to making the list)
