A very weak cobra

The cobra doesn't sound that difficult. Lie on the floor facing down, put your hands near the chest and push up. But boy, did my back feel like it was being asked to do something unnatural.

It was tough to concentrate on yoga last week even though I wore a better looking yoga outfit. It's those blasted mirrors showing me just how out of shape I am.

Child's pose or Balasana involves sitting back on one's knees and heels and laying the head down with arms resting alongside the torso. It sounds relaxing. But when there's a candy gut hanging in between, it's tough to breathe. I don’t think I inhaled during this “resting” pose.

Because I’m someone who believes clothes make the woman, I’m heading to Target to buy yet another yoga outfit. I am convinced there is a slimming suit that will make me a yogi master.
